Derek Harbour (Chairperson)

Derek has lived in Oxhill since 2007. He has served on the Oxhill Village Hall Committee since 2008 and is a co-founder of the WOT2Grow Orchard. He trained as an engineer and worked as a practioner for 10 years, ran a few companies for 10 years and was 10 years in Venture Capital.  He retired early from full-time working and continued to work for various companies in non-executive roles until 2018. He is married to Tricia (who also serves on the OVH Committee) and they enjoy walking, golf, bridge, family and holidays. 

Grenville Moore 

Grenville has lived in Oxhill since 1966.  He has served on the Parish Council for eleven years including two years as Vice-Chairman and seven years as Chairman.  He is founder and Chairman of OWLS (Oxhill Wildlife Society), a Biodiversity Action Plan Group.  He has worked in many aspects of the food industry, as a director of a graphics company and latterly was a partner in a murals and specialist decorating business. He continues to work as an artist. He is married to Jane and they both share a keen interest in art, the natural good, good food and life!

Duncan Harper

Duncan's family moved to Oxhill in 1969 and he was born in 1970.  He was raised in the village and lived here until moving to Tysoe in 1994.  In 2015 having purchased the former family home from his mother, he returned to Oxhill with his own family.  His mother remains in the village as she now lives with them.   On leaving school Duncan trained as a funeral director, initially working for a company in Stratford and since 2001 more locally at R Locke & Son.  In addition to Oxhill Parish Council he currently serves on the committees of Tysoe Flower Show & Fete and the 1st Kineton Scout Group.

Lis Stuart

Lis and her family have lived in the village for a number of generations. Having moved away to pursue her teaching career she has returned to the village with her own family and has recently completed a self-build project. She has a specialism in early years currently working at a primary school in Oxfordshire, she is part of the Oxfordshire Leaders of Learning programme and works in a consultany role for the county.  In addition to Oxhill Parish Council Lis is part of the trustee group for the Banbury Community Play Bus.

Sue Hunt

Sue qualified as a nurse in 1964 and spent more than 20 years practising as a Theatre Sister.  She moved into Senior Management roles and was a Chief Executive of NHS Trusts in Coventry, Worcestershire and Kent for nearly ten years.  A member of the NHS Mental Health Task Force, Sue worked on a number of Do H campaigns.  With her husband Martin, Sue moved from Wales to Oxhill in 2010 to be nearer to her two daughters and grandchildren. She enjoys all aspects of food and cooking, sewing and gardening.

Christine Coles (Parish Clerk)

Christine moved to Oxfordshire in 1996 and worked as a Secretary for a large company in Banbury.   She  is married with two children. She left work in 2001 to start her family.  She started working as a  Parish Clerk in 2001 and now works for other councils in neighbouring counties. She is a Secretary of a village hall committee. She  works part time as a SENCO at a local preschool.  Her interests are reading, gardening, sewing and swimming.
