Derek Harbour (Chair)

Derek has lived in Oxhill since 2007. He has served on the Oxhill Village Hall Committee since 2008 and is a co-founder of the WOT2Grow Orchard. He trained as an engineer and worked as a practioner for 10 years, ran a few companies for 10 years and was 10 years in Venture Capital.  He retired early from full-time working and continued to work for various companies in non-executive roles until 2018. He is married to Tricia (who also serves on the OVH Committee) and they enjoy walking, golf, bridge, family and holidays. 

Peter Rivers Fletcher

Having moved from Kineton to Oxhill more than 40 years ago, Peter has been involved with village life ever since. Past Chairman of the Village Hall Committee, he is a long serving member of the Garden Club Committee. Following from a Rolls Royce apprenticeship, he worked in technical PR and marketing before forming his own engineering business which eventually became a small group of companies mainly involved in the motorcycle industry. He retired in 2007.  Married to Margaret who is also well involved with village activities, he enjoys boating, classic cars, playing the guitar and piano and having lots of holidays.

Malcolm Robertson

Malcolm has lived in Oxhill since 1984 and served as Chairman and Treasurer on the Village Hall Committee for a number of years. He is a Chartered Surveyor specialising in shop properties across England and Wales, and is an Arbitrator and Independent Expert. He is a keen offshore sailor, with over 40 years experience and also owns a share in a narrowboat, currently based near Napton. He is married to Maria and they enjoy walking with their dog Bran. His two sons were born in Oxhill, both of whom are now married and living near Chipping Norton.

Lis Stuart (Vice-Chair)

Lis and her family have lived in the village for a number of generations. Having moved away to pursue her teaching career she has returned to the village with her own family and has recently completed several self-build projects.

She has a specialism in early years and has worked in a number of settings improving practice and as a consultant for Oxfordshire County Council. 

She has an interest in planning, renewable technologies and the environment.

Reuben Connolly

 As a relative newcomer to Warwickshire Reuben moved to Oxhill from Hertfordshire with his wife Lisa when he joined JLR in 2014. He grew up among the farming community of the Shropshire Hills before migrating to London for a Masters in Electronic Engineering. There he remained for 20 years, travelling the world building a career in management consulting and Legal Industry transformation.  More recently he has focussed on investments in property, classic cars, brewing and distilling, finding relaxation through books and writing poetry. He is keen to contribute more formally, beyond the neighbourly activities he already undertakes with Lisa and their dog Zeus, who all love the snow!

Christine Coles (Parish Clerk)

Christine moved to Oxfordshire in 1996 and worked as a Secretary for a large company in Banbury.   

She  is married with two children. She left work in 2001 to start her family.  

She started working as a  Parish Clerk in 2001 and now works for other councils in neighbouring counties.

She is a Secretary of a village hall committee. She  works part time as a SENCO at a local preschool.  Her interests are reading, gardening, sewing and swimming.
